1. Information We Collect
When you create an account, we collect your email address, name, and authentication credentials. When you use the platform, we store your conversation history and usage metrics to calculate credit costs.
2. How We Use Your Data
Your data is used solely to provide the Kovak AI service: authenticating your account, routing messages to AI providers, tracking credit usage, and improving the platform experience. We do not sell your data to third parties.
3. AI Provider Data Handling
Messages you send are forwarded to the AI model provider you select (e.g., OpenRouter, Hugging Face). Each provider has its own data retention policy. Kovak AI does not use your conversations to train AI models.
4. Data Security
We use industry-standard encryption for data in transit (TLS) and at rest. Passwords are hashed with bcrypt. Payment processing is handled securely through Stripe.
